Do I need to use QuickBooks Online?
Yes. South Ridge Financial Solutions specializes exclusively in QuickBooks Online because it is the best platform for the businesses served here. If you are currently using a different system, migration support is available. If you are not using any software yet, a properly configured QuickBooks file will be set up from scratch.
What types of businesses do you work with?

Yes. While South Ridge Financial Solutions is based in Lake County, Ohio, clients are served throughout Ohio and select clients are supported remotely beyond the state. All services are delivered securely through QuickBooks Online and your bank feeds. Location is not a limitation.
What is a Financial Catch-Up and System Reset?
This is a strategic service designed for businesses that are ready to transition into structured monthly financial management. Your records are brought current, corrections are made where needed, and the foundation is built for an ongoing partnership. It is not a one-time emergency service. It is a deliberate reset that positions your business for organized, reliable financial systems going forward.
What does a Clarity Call involve?
The Clarity Call is a focused conversation (up to 30 minutes via Zoom) to assess alignment and discuss your current financial structure and needs. Your situation is reviewed, along with your biggest challenges and what you are looking for in a long-term financial partner.
If there is alignment, the next step is a dedicated Financial Diagnostic ($450).
What is the Financial Diagnostic?
The Financial Diagnostic is a paid, in-depth review of your current financial systems.
Fee: $450. Requires secure read-only access to your QuickBooks Online account. Includes a structured review of bookkeeping accuracy, reporting reliability, workflow gaps, and potential risk areas.
Following the diagnostic, you receive a written summary and a customized service proposal based on your business needs.
If you choose to move forward with monthly services, the $450 diagnostic fee is credited toward your first month.
Do you handle tax preparation?
Tax returns are not prepared here. However, South Ridge maintains a close working relationship with a large, established CPA firm to ensure clients receive comprehensive tax support. The role here is full tax readiness: keeping your books accurate and organized throughout the year, preparing 1099s, handling sales tax compliance, and coordinating directly with CPA partners so tax season is smooth and stress-free. This collaborative approach means you get the best of both worlds: structured bookkeeping and expert tax preparation from a trusted CPA firm.
What ongoing support do I get with monthly services?
Beyond accurate monthly books and clear financial reports, you get direct access to your financial partner for questions, guidance, and strategic support. Monthly commentary highlights what matters in your numbers, along with custom KPIs for your industry and advisory support on pricing, cash flow, and business decisions.
What POS systems do you work with?
South Ridge Financial Solutions has worked with a wide range of POS systems and platforms that integrate with QuickBooks Online, including Clover, Boulevard, Vagaro, Cherry, Alle, and others.
